Garlic Green Beans

 Garlic Green Beans



    These are so simple to make.  When possible I pick them fresh from the garden, but usually I can find these in my local grocery store fresh.  Fresh is definitely recommended over frozen.








Ingredients:

- 1lbs of green beans

- 2TBSP of butter

- 1-2 cloves of garlic minced

- Salt and pepper to taste


Directions:

1)  Rinse the beans, remove ends and cut in half.

2)  Place a medium sauce pan on the stove and melt butter.  

3)  Once butter is melted add the green beans, garlic, salt and pepper.

4)  Place a lid on the pan, reduce to low and cook for about 5 minutes or until tender.  Shake the pan occasionally.
