 Bacon Wrapped Filet Mignon with Lobster Cream Sauce



    WOW!  This was so decant and delicious!  While it looks complicated, it was terribly hard to execute.  This was a once in a lifetime dish that I had the pleasure of making.








Ingredients:

- 1 filet mignon per person

- 1-2 slices of bacon per filet

- 1-2 lobster tails depending on since

- 1/4 cup butter

- 1 cup milk (recommend whole milk)

- 1 packet of Bearnaise sauce

- Salt and Pepper


Directions:

1.  Preheat your grill to about 450 degrees.

2.  Prepare filet's by wrapping bacon around the filet and securing with a tooth pick (or two).  Season with salt and pepper.

3.  Split lobster tails in half using a chef's knife or sharp kitchen shears.

4.  Once grill is heated, place filet's on grill, depending on thickness cook for between 7-12 minutes per side.

5.  While filets are grilling, place lobsters on the grill flesh side down.  After about 5 minutes, flip to shell side down.

6.  To cook the béarnaise sauce, follow the directions on the packet.

7.  Once lobster tails have cooked, remove, cool slightly, and dice.  Add to simmering béarnaise sauce.

8.  Once filets are cooked to your liking remove and rest for about 5 minutes.  Serve with béarnaise and lobster sauce on top with grilled asparagus on the side.
